Hello August.

August 1st, 2014. This is the month my whole life changes. In 5 days I will be on a one-way flight to Los Angeles.

Our lease is signed, and in 3 days my car is getting shipped across the country along with 3/4 of my belongings. My going away celebration is tomorrow, where I'll say goodbye to my family, friends, peers, and all the lovely people who have made Miami home for so many years.

It is a huge life change. It has taken a massive amount of hard work, sacrifice, planning, tears, and a great deal of bravery to get here, standing at the precipice of the single greatest adventure I have ever undertaken in my life, and I am ready. I am scared, nervous, anxious, incredibly overwhelmed, and extremely excited, but I am ready.

This is the beginning of the rest of my life. I have no idea where this path with lead but I can't wait to find out.
